We’re turning #3thingsforCanada into 30 homes for Guelph!
With the help of our community, Habitat for Humanity Wellington Dufferin Guelph (WDG) has plans to make affordable home ownership a reality for 30 families, including seniors and people with disabilities, right here in Guelph.
J.G. Goetz Construction Ltd is currently on site at 11 Cityview Drive South, the future home of Cityview Village, initiating the start of a multi-year development. To support this ambitious and groundbreaking build, Habitat for Humanity WDG is reaching out to the community for help.
“For the first time in our Affiliate’s history, we’re building a whole village, but we know that we can’t do this alone,” says Steve Howard, CEO of Habitat for Humanity WDG. “We want our community to know that they can help build homes without a hammer and a hard hat. It can be as easy as one, two, or three simple things.”
As a participant in Guelph’s #3ThingsforCanada campaign, we are asking community members to volunteer, shop or donate to the ReStore, or make a monetary donation to support the development of this large-scale build.
Tender for Phase 1 of Cityview Village has been extended
